Judges' Comments

Kym Milne
Fragrant, floral, raspberry aromas with some whole bunch aromatic lift. Bright and juicy palate with some spicy, stalky notes on the finish, fresh and long. Very good refreshing wine with the food

Stuart Halliday
Pretty and uplifted red berry fruit. Lovely acid crunch, juicy and fresh, that brightness and freshness is really accentuated with the introduction of food

Oliver Masters
Medium light red, spice and warm plum on nose, complete elegant fine palate, wasn’t really enhanced by BBQ Octopus food match

Natasha Hughes
Baked fruit character and hollow mid-palate. Tannins seem rather extracted. Brief.

Corey Ryan
Brick brown hues, lifted and alluring spicy red apple skin aromas. A mid bodied style, with good concentration, rounded mid palate, soft easy drinking wine. The wine finishes fresh and vibrant.

Matthew Deller
Medium pale appearance. Earthy, red fruits, dried herb, pastille, potpourri. Fresh palate with juicy acidity and moderate grainy tannins with some sweetness. Moderate length. Food accentuates the sweetness of this wine.
