Judges' Comments
Kym Milne
Complex, creamy, stone fruit aromas. Quite full and textured style, oatmeal, cashew and some toasty oak notes. Long and complex aftertaste.

Warren Gibson
Ripe fruit, some wood volatility. Rich and complex. Attractive. excellent match with the dish. Savoury and long

Meg Brodtmann
Oak evident first on the nose vanilla, clove, cinnamon. Some raw almond and honey as well. Great balance of oak with some honey development, ripe pineapple, apricot and flint. A very elegant, balanced wine. A lovely pairing with the wine appearing even softer and more elegant.

Dr Ken Dobler
Excellent light straw yellow colour. Really attractive nose with aromas of melon and peach paired with some complex yeasty notes. Palate has excellent poise with complexity and fitness and a long finish.

Brent Marris
Lovely burnt match and tropical fruit nose. Slight creamy oak with balanced fresh acidity. A hint of nuttiness on the finish with lovely balanced fruit structure. A perfect match as the fish tastes distinctive as does the wine.

Ying Tan
Creamy oaky nose. Light creamy oaky apple palate. Simple. Dry finish. Snapper is neutral with the wine
