Judges' Comments
Warren Gibson
Sweaty thiols apparent. Lifted and fresh and punchy. Passionfruit predominant. Good balance. Slightly less acidity than others. The cauliflower dish accentuated a roughness on the palate

Meg Brodtmann
Lovely floral aromas of elderflower and white blossom. Some asparagus with gooseberry. Very interesting nose. Classic wine on the palate lots of passionfruit, white florals and wet stone. Mouth filling and delicious. Harmonious with the cauliflower. Lovely match.

Dr Ken Dobler
Aromas of guava and lychee on the nose. Palate shows those flavours along with passionfruit, there is also a persistent mineral note to the palate making it complex and attractive. Food accentuated the attractive primary fruit notes.

Brent Marris
Hot ferment nose follows through to palate. Hints of herbal notes on mid palate but wine finishes with a slight grip on the finish. Balanced acid, just lacking fresh fruit and texture. cauliflower dish is good with this wine but wine still too dilute.

Ying Tan
Restrained grassy nose. Fresh, dry, full bodied, zesty grassy on palate. Simple, amply proportioned style. Cauliflower rounds out the wine nicely

Sue Bastian
Bright pale straw. Intriguing gun-flinty nose and dried grass. Highly nervy acid, complemented with more tropical fruits and herbs. Moderate length. This is a lovely match and the wine acid refreshes the palate but still has plenty of flavours.
