Dark colour. Very ripe nose, violets plus touch of raisin. Very dense wine. Very sweet fruit, plum jam characters, big and a bit tarry and extracted/dry on finish
Chewy tannic full bodied red, lots of green stalk and charred oak
Dark red spice nose, tight dense palate, some sappy spice tannins and acid giving freshness to warm fruit, worked well with beef cheek
Dense, dark, with plenty of ripe, generous fruit, well balanced by firm tannins and lively acidity.
Crimson colour, perfumed ripe plum fruit cake and spice aromas. Chewy tannins full flavoured robust wine, well structured, excellent length. Hot! The wine is not promoted more with the dish.
Dark/black appearance. Dark fruit, liquorice, smoky, dried violet, LBV-Port like, vanilla-clove oak. Dense, taut, slightly creamy mid palate with juicy acidity and string chewy tannins. Good length, with spicy, clove oak and drying finish. Food accentuates the classical structure, tautness and spiciness.
