Judges' Comments
Warren Gibson
Lifted and fresh. Attractive. Confectionary. Fresh and vibrant. Some residual sugar evident. An excellent match with the dish. Vibrant and alive

Meg Brodtmann
Strawberry fields forever! Enticingly aromatic profile of pure red berry fruit Eton Mess in a glass. The residual sugar fills out the palate but the wine finishes clean with crisp acid and lots of berry flavour. Not my style but appealing. Does not work particularly well with the food appears more bitter.

Dr Ken Dobler
Light salmon pink. Lovely fresh berry, strawberry aromas on the nose. Palate has pleasing primary fruit with lovely length and textural appeal from a hint of balanced residual sugar.

Brent Marris
Lovely rose petal nose through to the palate. Bright and balanced with lovely fruit sweetness on the mid palate and crispness of the finish. A great match with the quiche as the wine and the dish become one. Quite seamless.

Ying Tan
Light pink. Strawberry, cherry, light roses on nose. Light, dry, slightly astringent cherry strawberry mid-palate. Dry finish. Tails dry. Leek Quiche ameliorated the dryness.

Sue Bastian
Pale cherry red. Attractive red apple and berry fruit Soft mouthfeel, moderately intense fruit Moderate length
